Overview
tANTrum was the first VR project I helped develop, working in a team of four. It’s a VR tower defense game where you’re tasked with protecting your basket friend from waves of invading ants. To defend them, you place miniature makeshift towers, requiring occasional maintenance to stay functional.
Adding to the chaos, you can also shrink yourself down and take matters into your own hands, by blasting the ants with a trusty spud gun. The mix of passive defense and active combat made for a fun and engaging experience, and it was a great introduction to developing for VR.
Contributions
Designed and problem-solved core gameplay systems for a VR environment.
Implemented polish and refinement to improve player experience and immersion.
